New Ministry opportunity

Unfortunately there are no pictures for this one. Today instead of recording class which is my regular job every morning, I went with the pastor here to visit a safe house for girls rescued from sex trafficking. Unfortunately sex trafficking is common here so when the pastor here heard about this organization he wanted to help. Originally this organization did everything from finding the girls and rescuing them to keeping them safe at the safe house. Recently the police stepped in and told this organization and others like it that they can only run the safe house and leave the rest to the police. We were able to go to this safe house for a little while and talk to the people there and hear the story of one of the girls they were housing. The girl was sold by her single mother who was also caught up in sex trafficking. When she was found by this organization she was demon possessed and would attack anyone around her. Now after being in the care of two missionaries here she is able to live a better life and spend her time studying the bible. I was able to meet this girl at the safe house because she has been doing ok for a while but when the pastor here said that he and I would like to help however we can, they warned us that I might not be able to help as much because I am an white male. Most of the customers of the sex trafficking industry here are American and European tourists, so having me around the new arrivals at the safe house might not be a good idea. However, we still would like to help in any way possible so we will continue stopping by the safe house. Please keep this ministry in your prayers as it has a very serious impact. Please pray specifically that the restrictions lift on what we can do since the police are not trusted to run their end since many of them are behind it.
